Extension of the solidification time
KS insulating risers and risers extend the solidification time of the metal in the riser. In addition, insulating risers and risers improve the mold filling capacity and increase output due to fewer casting defects. Directed solidification is also supported. As standard, dome, round and oval risers are in stock in different heights. These consist of:
- Mineral fibers (Iso riser)
- Biosoluble (AES) fibers (Bio Speiser)
- Ceramic (ASW / RCF) fibers (Kera Speiser)
