CHARACTERISTICS
Chesterton 860 Kit is a moldable polymer gasket. Two-part, extrudable gasket material enables extremely thin gaskets of any size and shape to be formed. Does not stick to surfaces. Resistant to oils, water, chemicals and solvents, does not stick to surfaces, fills voids and scratches up to 6 mm deep, remains elastic and is suitable for temperatures up to 260 ° C and steam up to 6.8 kg / cm2 (100 psi ) and 170 ° C. Chesterton 860 Kit is used to seal complex mechanical assemblies: gearboxes, inspection hatches, bearing housings, fittings, oil pans and tanks, turbine housings, electrical switch boxes and vacuum systems.
