CHARACTERISTICS
KS Silicone Round Cords can be used in harsh environments, high temperatures and in a range of machines for bulk products in the food and beverage industry. Silicone round cords can be manufactured in diameters from 1 mm to 40 mm and can be joined to form silicone cord rings for your application if required. KS Silicone tubing is supplied to a wide range of industries and markets - from lighting and construction to dairy, automotive and aerospace. Silicone tubing can be manufactured from 1mm internal diameter up to 100mm external diameter.
The products can be ringed in certain special qualities or moulded into specific shapes and dimensions that are considered high quality by the FDA and other medical institutions. Certain grades meet FDA specifications 21 CFR 177.2600 and can be used with absolute safety in food applications, whether dry, aqueous or fatty foods are involved. Certain grades are also EC1935/2004 approved and have WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approval for contact with drinking water.
