CHARACTERISTICS
Our silicone foam gaskets, made from closed cell, lightweight silicone foam, are specifically designed for interior mass transit applications: Door Seals, Electronic Enclosure Seals, HVAC Seals and Boiler Seals, Vibration Dampening, Sound Insulation, LED Seals and Gap Fillers.
The products offer excellent compression properties in the manufacture of gaskets and seals, especially when the sealing surface is not smooth. With a water absorption of <1%, our silicone foam sheets offer excellent sealing properties against water and dust ingress, providing protection for the application. Processed on calendered production lines and controlled by advanced technologies such as back-rolling and cross-cutting equipment, the flatness and width of the silicone foam sheets remain constant to provide a high-quality, smooth surface.
Our silicone foam seals are available in thicknesses (2mm - 45mm), densities (150kg/m³ to 600kg/m³) and widths up to 1000mm. Silicone foam gaskets are available as standard in white, red-brown, dark grey or blue with the option of self-adhesive for ease of installation. Available in a range of special grades, we can formulate our silicone foam gaskets to suit your application(s).
